Regorafenib 40mg tablets


Regorafenib is a targeted therapy. It is an oral receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor or cancer growth blocker. It works by stopping signals that tell cancer cells to grow. This medication also stops the cancer cells growing blood vessels that they need. Blocking blood vessel growth is called anti angiogenesis treatment.


Nublexa is an anticancer medicine that contains the active substance regorafenib. It is used to treat the following cancers : Colorectal cancer (cancer of the bowel and rectum) that has spread to other parts of the body.Gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST -, a cancer of the stomach and bowel) that has spread and cannot be surgically removed.


  • Diarrhea, pain/sores in the mouth/throat, changes in taste, dry mouth, loss of appetite, hair loss, voice changes, weight loss, or muscle stiffness may occur.
  • If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: slow wound healing, signs of dehydration (such as extreme thirst, dizziness, decreased urination), signs of mineral imbalance (such as muscle cramps/weakness, irregular heartbeat, mental/mood changes), signs of infection (such as fever, chills, persistent sore throat), signs of underactive thyroid (weight gain, cold intolerance, unusual tiredness, slow heartbeat), High blood pressure with headaches, confusion, loss of eyesight and fits (seizures), skin cancers.

Before taking Nublexa treatment, Talk to your doctor about the following :

  • If you have ever had liver problems.If you have a history of high cholesterol or heart disease.
  • If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Your doctor will talk with you about birth control while getting chemotherapy.
  • If you are breastfeeding.Do not give your medicine to anyone else, even if they have the same condition as you.
  • The amount of this medicine that you will receive depends on many factors, your general health or other health problems, and the type of cancer or condition being treated. Your doctor will determine your dose and schedule.
  • Do not change your dose or stop Regorafenib unless your health care provider tells you to.
  • If you need surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time that you are using Nublexa.
  • You will be checked regularly by your doctor while you are taking Regorafenib, to monitor side effects and check your response to therapy. Periodic blood work will be obtained to monitor your complete blood count (CBC) as well as the function of other organs (such as your kidneys and liver), as deemed necessary by your doctor.

Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Store tablets in the original bottle and protect from moisture (do not remove the desiccant); keep container tightly closed. Discard any unused tablets 7 weeks after opening the bottle.
